Our very own Ari Noble, along with Momodriller — the artist behind Preeny Has to Repeat 6th Grade, another spectacular Foxglove comic — is sharing a booth at the Toronto Comic Arts Festival on June 7th and 8th in Toronto! Ari will be selling Tamberlane books there, as well as stickers and prints. If you want to pick up a book in person and talk to Ari, you should stop by!
BELFRY: ...What?
BRIAR: Well. Can't say I didn't try.
BELFRY: Wait, where are you going? We're not done!
BRIAR: You're not done. I'm very done.
BELFRY: Briar, wait! We have to work this out!
BRIAR: No, you have to work it out. I said everything I needed to say.
BRIAR: I'm done being your punching bag tonight.
BELFRY: Punching...?? Briar!
[SFX: DEEP sigh]
BRIAR: I love you so much, Belfry.
BRIAR: But I just need some space.
BELFRY : ...Quoi ?
BRIAR : Eh bien. Je ne peux pas dire que je n'ai pas essayé.
BELFRY : Attends, où vas-tu ? Nous n'en avons pas terminé !
BRIAR : Tu n'en as pas terminé. J'en ai vraiment fini.
BELFRY : Briar, attends ! Il faut qu'on règle ça !
BRIAR : Non, tu dois régler ça. J'ai dit tout ce que j'avais à dire.
BRIAR : J'en ai fini d'être ton punching-ball ce soir.
BELFRY : Punching... ?? Briar !
[SFX : PROFOND soupir]
BRIAR : Je t'aime tellement, Belfry.
BRIAR : Mais j'ai juste besoin d'un peu d'espace.
BELFRY: ...Quê?
BRIAR: Bem. Não posso dizer que não tentei.
BELFRY: Espera, onde você tá indo? A gente não acabou ainda!
BRIAR: Você ainda não acabou. Eu acabei faz tempo.
BELFRY: Briar, calma! A gente tem que resolver isso!
BRIAR: Não, você tem que resolver isso. Eu disse tudo que precisava dizer.
BRIAR: Já deu de ser seu alvo de tiro pra mim hoje.
BELFRY: Alvo...?? Briar!
SFX: suspiro FUNDO
BRIAR: Eu te amo demais, Belfry.
BRIAR: Mas eu só preciso de um espaço.
