Marie Territon

If there's someone you can always count on in Treehollow, it's Marie. The sweetest, sunniest personality you could ever meet, the skunk-wolf is adored by kits and adults alike in town for her demure and generous nature. She prides herself on being someone who always tries to see the best in others (though sometimes this can be a trial). Raised by her loving mothers Maya and Terra, Marie only briefly got to know her surrogate father Ranjan before he passed away.

If there's one thing that remains a challenge for Marie, it's navigating her sweetness in a world which often sees it as naivety. She always tries to be empathetic, but sometimes her desire to help others leaves her with little time for her own needs. As she learns how to leave time for herself, Marie also faces the loss of her safe place with Parsley due to his new and chaotic foster brother, Cur.

Trivia About Marie Territon

  • Marie is transgender. Her mothers have supported her exploring her feelings about her gender since she was very young, with the philosophy that if it's a phase, she'll grow out of it, and if it's not, she won't. Marie has been happily herself ever since.
  • She and Parsley have been inseparable since childhood, and over time this has led to Marie developing a crush on him.
  • Marie has a fondness for sugar (and the hyperactivity that results from eating it).
  • One of Marie's favorite subjects is bugs! She keeps an extensive insect collection as pets. Her favorite is a lunar moth she's named Lady Egwene.
