As it turns out, sometimes you say things you sort of regret.
Our very own Ari Noble, along with Momodriller — the artist behind Preeny Has to Repeat 6th Grade, another spectacular Foxglove comic — is sharing a booth at the Toronto Comic Arts Festival on June 7th and 8th in Toronto! Ari will be selling Tamberlane books there, as well as stickers and prints. If you want to pick up a book in person and talk to Ari, you should stop by!
BRIAR: Alright, alright...
BRIAR: It's just... since the fight...
BRIAR: I just... I feel so guilty.
BRIAR: Belfry's been through something truly awful, and I just... piled on.
BRIAR: And, yeah, it felt good to finally say it - something had to change - but...
BRIAR: On the one paw, I want to just forgive her and go back to how things were, but...
WANDERER: But on the other paw, the way things were wasn't great.
BRIAR: Yeah... Exactly.
BRIAR: But I chose the worst time and the worst way to bring it up!
BRIAR: I feel just awful. And I don't know what to do.
BRIAR : D'accord, d'accord...
BRIAR : C'est juste... depuis la bagarre...
BRIAR : Je me sens juste... tellement coupable.
BRIAR : Belfry a traversé quelque chose de vraiment horrible, et j'en ai juste... rajouté.
BRIAR : Et, ouais, ça m'a fait du bien de le dire enfin - quelque chose devait changer - mais...
BRIAR : D'un côté, je veux juste lui pardonner et revenir à la façon dont les choses étaient, mais...
VAGABOND : Mais de l'autre côté, la façon dont les choses étaient n'était pas géniale.
BRIAR : Ouais... Exactement.
BRIAR : Mais j'ai choisi le pire moment et la pire façon d'en parler !
BRIAR : Je me sens vraiment mal. Et je ne sais pas quoi faire.
