TAMBERLANE: Stop, please! Listen, listen!

TAMBERLANE:I was asking about Abroad!

OAKEWOOD: And you had this conversation in public??
BELFRY: What was I supposed to do? She asked! I didn’t want to just give her the cop-out answer!

TAMBERLANE: Unca! Please don’t be mad at Mummy! I asked!!

OAKEWOOD: Oh, alright. Since you asked so nicely, little snapdragon.

I had the suspicion Abroad is the place where the inhabitants use the surviving human technology. Treehollow regards human tech to be not kosher, but trades with Abroad anyway because they need some of the things they can produce, and sometimes people flee to it in search of advanced medicine that can cure their serious diseases.

I love that everyone was right, and it really looks like at Least Milo wishes it was the other talk now,

Also guess we are getting closer to the moment of truth and seeing if my whole abroad theory is viable or not,

I don’t know if we are going to get the whole truth, but we may get closer to it.

Milo’s face on panel 4: When you aren’t sure how old the leftovers are and you open it with out looking.

I think abroad is the place creatures left to get away from humans and the creature want nothing to remind them of them including the technology and medicine no matter how beneficial it could be due to how they were treated by humans.

Oakewood proceeds to explain:
Welcome to Abroad, the Musical! Not Abroad the place. Abroad the place is sort of a mythical place. One that you will not see until Act II. It has to be a surprise. I can’t just blurt it out. Like, like there is no Abroad, we just kill people!

I guess Abroad is just a plain human world. Where animals is just animals. Wordless and thoughtless.

Tamberlane is like a surrogate for the audience in this one.

It’s especially nice to see little Tam getting more assertive. =’3

Also: she seems to be doing some sort of sign for “listen” in the first panel. =3
